Let’s face it, the person you want to date will love your dog. So why not skip the speed dating and sniff out these dog-friendly single scenes.
1. The Sierra Club offers Canine Hikes specifically for people and dogs to enjoy and explore the outdoors together. They're a great way for you and your pooch both to socialize, meet new friends and get some exercise.
2. Doggie School -- it’s not just for puppies anymore. No matter how old your dog, he can learn a few new tricks. Classes are a fun way to break some bad dog habits, brush up on training tips and meet other dog people. The local SPCA may have just the class for you.
3. Hook up with other neighborhood dogs and their people for fun events around the bay. Check out your local dog park or explore the parks all over the city to find the right mix of dog friends. Seek out dog owner groups with active outings of all kinds – you’ll find groups for specific breeds, neighborhood pooches and even specific activities.
